Sub Wallet is an innovative feature that allows corporate users to create multiple sub-accounts for members as a custodian who do not need to complete KYC in order to receive and manage funds.
In this guide, we will show you how to create a Sub Wallet.
Step 1: Once you have created a wallet, you can click "Multi-Sig" on the top left. You can click "Sub Wallet" to move on.
Step 2: Name the wallet and then enter the ABCC registered email address of the user you want to invite and click "Continue". The page will display the new member's status—a yellow icon indicates that the member is awaiting acceptance of the invitation.
Step 3: The user you invited will receive an invitation, and they can view it by clicking the notification in the top right corner. Then, they need to click "Accept".
Step 4: After the users accept your invitation, they will become members of your multi-signature wallet. You need to go to the "Multi-Sig" page and check the "Pending Wallets" section. Then click "Execute" to complete the Sub wallet setup.
Step 4: Upon completion, your account will be displayed as the "Owner" on the Sub Account Wallet page, while the invited member will appear as the "Custodian." Currently, each sub-account wallet can have only one "Custodian," while the "Owner" may open multiple sub-account wallets.
*The permission settings for the two roles in the sub-account wallet are as follows:
Owner
- Requirement: Must complete KYC identity verification.
- Functions: Can open sub-account wallets; can only use the "Receive" function.
Custodian
- Requirement: Not required to complete KYC identity verification.
- Functions: Can use the "Receive," "Send," "HKDM Points," "To Merchant," "Transactions," and other functions (may only add two addresses for transaction purposes).
