How to verify your account (KYC)

Hello! In this instruction, we will show you how to go through the account application on ABCC. 

To proceed with the identity verification, please prepare your document before getting started:

• Passport - Please provide a valid passport or we might reject your application if you use your driving license, or other documents
• ID- Please provide a valid ID or we might reject your application if you use your driving license, or other documents

We will require you to complete the steps below:

1. Upload your passport photo page or front and back side of your ID
   
2. Record a video on your mobile
3. Complete an information form

Please note that:

• Use a first-hand captured photo. Do not use a photo of a screen
• Make sure your photo details are clear to read without glare
• Make sure your video is fully visible and in focus, and it is recorded under sufficient lighting without background noise
• Please complete the 2 challenges during video recording: number challenge and head turn challenge
• If you want to use fiat services, we highly recommend users to use passports for verification.

Website

1. First you should login at ABCC. If you have not joined us yet, please register an account.

2. Click on KYC in the upper right-hand corner of the ABCC homepage to enter the page.

3. Please prepare your documents and click Start.

4. Please enter your name and date of birth, and then click Submit and Verify Identity.

5. To proceed with the procedure on your phone, get a secure link on your phone by scanning the QR code, or receiving the link via SMS. After you successfully connect to your mobile, please keep this window open while using your mobile phone. 

6. Use your mobile to upload documents. Make sure your passport details are clear to read.

7. After uploading your passport photo page, we will ask you to enable camera access and film yourself. 

1. • Please position your face in the oval on the screen, and press the red button in the lower bottom to record. 
   • Look over your left shoulder. When you are done, press Next.
   • Say each digit out loud. When you are done, press Stop.
   • Check the selfie video and click Confirm.

8. Once uploading your document and videos on your mobile, you can now return to your computer to continue and click Submit verification. Your computer may take a few seconds to update.

9. After submitting your Onfido (ID verification), you will receive an email to notify whether your 1st stage is passed or not. If you pass the 1st stage, please move on to the survey to fill in the information form in order to complete your application.

*Please note that if the submission was unsuccessful, please re-submit your Onfido (ID verification). If you are unable to proceed or re-submit please contact support@abcc.zendesk.com. We will be happy to assist you.

10.  Please fill in the information and click Next to continue.

11. You can move back and forward with the Previous and Next button to ensure all your information is correct.

12. After completely filling the information, click Complete to end the account application verification.

13. That’s all! Please wait for your identity verification to be processed. If you have any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact support@abcc.zendesk.com. We will be happy to assist you. Thank you.

App

1. First you should download ABCC App.

2.  Please login to the App. If you have not joined us yet, please register an account. After logging in, click next and Start to continue.

3. You can start the KYC process by entering your information, and then click Next Step and Start. 

4. Click Accept to agree with relevant terms and policies and allow camera access.

5. Use your mobile to scan your passport photo page. Make sure your passport details are clear to read and click Upload photo.

6. After uploading your passport, we will ask you to film yourself via clicking Record video and allow microphone access.

7. Please position your face within the oval on the screen to the next step. 

• Turn your head left and face forward.
• Say each digit out loud. When you are done, press Finish recording.
• Click Upload video to finish.

8. After submitting your Onfido (ID verification), you will receive an email to notify whether your 1st stage is passed or not. If you pass the 1st stage, please move on to the survey to fill in the information form in order to complete your application.

9. Please fill in the information and click Next to continue.

10. You can move back and forward with the Previous button to ensure all your information is correct. After completely filling the information, click Complete to end the account application verification.
